Performance Energy Services (PES) has hit the ground running with a multifaceted project on GoMex’s Vermillion 282D asset. The project encompasses our coatings, scaffold, construction and instrumentation & electrical (I&E) teams, all playing a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining the platform’s infrastructure.
The project kicked off with our scaffold and coatings service lines collaborating to scaffold areas designated for blasting and painting. Together, the teams worked meticulously to estimate and plan work for critical sections, including:
• deck legs, gas riser and oil riser
• nine conductor guides
• boat landing and a 12’ structure
• riser clamps and landings
As work on the paint campaign progressed, GoMex identified additional needs for asset improvement. They have since requested further support from our construction group for welding projects and our i&e team to troubleshoot electrical issues.
